Recently, something was bothering me a lot - what's the big deal with all those supersaws, hypersaws and similar shit?!? So, I decided to make my own synthesizer with supersaw capabilities: 4x oscillators with 16x supersaws/superpulses each, 4x ZDF transistor ladder filters, 4x LFOs, 4x envelopes, 32x modulation matrix, 2x stereo delays, oversampling, etc. It took me just two hours to make a functional prototype and another hour for further tweaking and adjustments. OK, I used my Diodow synthesizer as a base and ported suboscillator engine and unison algorithms from Tranzistow but still ...
Here it is, in case someone is interested:
(unzip into the VST folder and that's it)
32-bit VST version only at the moment. 64-bit will follow in a couple of days. Macburger version is not planned because I couldn't care less about Apples.
Short description and instructions:
The synthesizer is fully functional and there are no disabled features ... use freely.

Today, using redshift analysis and the Hubble Ultra Deep Field telescope. We can look far back into time to see what is believed to be galaxies that existed when the Universe was just 750 million years old. These seven pieces are inspired by the vision of these young galaxies reaching across time and space to peer at the cosmic dawn. Shane Morris - The Full Moon Series
12 pieces composed each month throughout 2014 paying tribute to our Lunar satellite.
There is a Berlin-school vibe that comes and goes throughout the album, as well as ethereal ambient, dark moods, and a little tribal thunder at times.
Thanks for listening!

First Christmas = Refugees On The Run
How little things have changed in the world over 2000 years. Jesus and his parents had to split Bethlehem and head to Egypt because the Jewish King (appointed by his Roman overlords) decided to kill off all the male children of Israel under 2 years of age. Today children are the constant victims of government visciousness, terrorism, gang violence, and military operations all over the world.
Here is a 21st Century interpretation of a 16th Century Coventry Carol that laments the state of affairs 2000 years ago (and today). Click the pic below to go... (there's a bit of background in the onsite notes for the curious too).

I've been a ReelSEO Newsletter subscriber for years now; but I never gave much thought to just how YouTube can best serve the Indie Musician until I caught this article, posted yesterday.
I'm already seeing both strategies I can use, and others that are totally inappropriate to my channel type. I advise all forum members to have a look for themselves and see if there is anything in the article you can use for better and more concrete visibility in general.

Special monograph on late synthesist Rüdiger Lorenz (1941-2000).
This is the story of a talented man who pursued his musical dream until the very end of his days. The story of a man who carved his own sonic territory, despising all other genres, be it New Age, Berlin School, World Music, and yet he managed to come up with something else.
Read about all of his career here:
